D/Hr 2nd Day of Halloween: Potential Energy

Notes: For day two of dramionedrabble's 12 Days of Halloween.  Prompt: scream.  I had to add "arse" to my dictionary on word.  It amused me greatly.
Summary: Hermione has had enough. 
               

                He let out a small, high-pitched scream as she shoved him into the wall, her hand flattening over his lips.  She was surprisingly strong for her size, and the added effect of her flyaway hair and enraged, fiery eyes in the dim made him wary.

 

                “This is the last time – the last, Malfoy – that I will take your petty insults and jeers and sniggers and Merlin knows what else with my wand not halfway up your sad arse.” She seethed, hair crackling with intensity.  He tried to back further into the solid wall, which really didn’t go too well at all.  “I am so sick – so sick – of your games, your immaturity, your arrogance, and I am through dallying away on the sidelines while others get hurt and you walk away unscathed.”

 

                She pulled her palm from his mouth, still fuming, though she had the decency to lower her eyes briefly as she realized just how close they were.  She glanced back up and he gave a quick nod, eyes fixed on the top of her head, hands curled into loose, useless fists at his sides.

 

                “Well,” she cleared her throat loudly.  “Just remember what I said.”

 

                He thought about making some nasty jibe regarding the specifics of said wand up his arse, but let it go.  Not because he wasn’t privy to nastiness, but rather he’d really prefer she keep her wand to herself.
