Notes: For day seven of dramionedrabble's 12 Days of Halloween.  Prompt: spooky.  
Summary: A couple before the fire.  Post DH.
               

They lay like that into the night, soft bronze limbs against pale as the firelight danced with the shadows, drawing the typically spooky dark in to shift with its warm glow.  The sight was mesmerizing in the calm, setting Hermione’s eyes into a sleepy pattern of slow, heavy closure to quick, open snap until they were lulled shut once more.  Open.  Slowly, slowly closed.  Softly.  Slowly.  Open.  The man beneath her shifted in his sleep as her eyes fell shut and stayed so, cool silver eyes and sleek blond hair blooming into a pale, hard face behind her lids.  Her eyes shot open once more and she groaned softly, shifting away from the fire, catching a quick glimpse of her husband’s flaming red hair and wild spread of freckles as she went.
