Summary: In which the boys can’t possibly thank Britney enough. (Set during 3x03, of course!)

 

               

                “Dude, I love this song.  Haven’t heard it in years.”

 

                “Britney Spears?  Oops I Did it Again?!  You do not.”

 

                Sam flushed.  “In a purely 90s sense of course.”

 

                “Huh.”  Dean shot a look at Sam from the driver’s side, eyes twinkling over his full smirk.  Sam swallowed, shifting in his seat.  He clutched the rabbit’s foot in his pocket.

 

                “It’s been pretty creepy actually, this constant luck thing.  I have to wonder where it draws the line.  Or if it even has limits.”  He toyed with the thin keychain, avoiding Dean’s eyes.

 

                “What do you mean, like world domination?  A fuck or two with Jessica Alba?”

 

                “Not Jessica Alba exactly, no.”

 

                “Who then, me?” Dean barked a laugh and spun the volume higher, singing along.

 

                “Oops I did it again!  I played with your heart, got lost in the game…oh baby baby…Oops!...you think I’m in love, that I’m sent from abo-o-o-ove.  I 'm not. that. innocent!”

 

                Sam blanched.

 

                “You know, actually – I fucking hate this song.”

 

                “Embrace it, little bro."  Sam heard the grin in Dean's tone, felt his fingers squeeze his thigh.  "How abouts we stop off at the next hotel?”
