I didn't take very obsessive records last year, so unfortunately there may be one or two I forgot, and I could've sworn I read The Subtle Knife in February or March when I was home sick for a couple days, but it's the last one on my '07 list so I am thoroughly confused.

Hopefully I'll have a better literary 2009 (maybe I'll actually complete it for once!).

EDIT: Oh mon dieu.  It keeps cutting off my last three for no particular reason.  So here -
19. Animal Farm by George Orwell
20. Lord of the Flies by William Golding
21. The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling

Speaking of Lolita, how does Saturday sound for our day of sexy Jeremy Irons?

I'm pretty sure that's just fine - I'll let you know later today. :) Is Grace coming?

How was The Tales of Beedle the Bard? My dad brought this like really fancy huuuge version of it simply because 'it looked good' and he doesn't like people touching it and he doesn't even LIKE Harry Potter, so yeah, I have no idea what's up with that. o_O

Did you enjoy Lord of the Flies?

Oh, it was adorable, I liked it a lot. Especially Dumbledore's notes. :) It was good to have him back, if only for a bit.

And that's so funny about your dad. I can just see him going: NO TOUCHY! with a big glare and a samurai sword or something. :P

And yes, I actually loved Lord of the Flies. It's difficult for me to judge books I read in school against books I read for pleasure, just cause being forced to read them makes me like them less than I would have if I'd chosen to, but it was oodles better than any of the other books we've read so far this year, and was one of the best I've read in school altogether (The Great Gatsby will forever hold the place of Best School Book Ever :P).
