Lucky! I was in Atlanta in July, so that's mehtastic. Of course if she'd been there then I'd have been too busy devouring Deathly Hallows anyway. HP always takes precedence. :P Not to mention I didn't read CoB till September, but whatever.
It actually took me a while to realize she was the same person who wrote all my favorite Draco/Harry fic during college. She also did the LotR "Very Secret Diaries." I love seeing fanfic writers do well in the actual publishing world.
Yeah, I guess I was too young to make the Cassie-era in fic, but I'd certainly heard of her, and I love the idea of ff writers getting published all the same. There's hope! :P
