What's this?
I'm guessing you have to read 50 books..but is there any more rule type things? Because I think I might want to do it too. Damn you Claire! Turning me into a readaholic.

50 books in a year. Do it! It's nice to remember what you've read throughout the year, and it forces you to read more and become THE ULTIMATE READAHOLIC OF DOOM. Seriously, reading is not that bad. And it seems my bookwormishness is rubbing off on quite a few people lately! *squee of one who has made a difference* LOL

Yes I think I will do it. I used to be a readaholic but then...I stayed on the computer for like hours and now I mostly read fanfiction. LOL

Oh also, should I count the books i started last year but finished this year? (like Extremely loud and incredibly close?)

[identity profile] interpretthis.livejournal.com 2007-01-30 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
You can, it really doesn't matter. The main point of the community is basically just to set a goal for yourself, it doesn't even have to be fifty. And LOL on the fanfic. I absolutely know what you mean ;)

Yay for the 50 Book Challenge! Double Yay for books that remind us of Ben!

[identity profile] interpretthis.livejournal.com 2007-01-30 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
Yay! YayYay!
And eight more days! Finally! I must write fic! (So busy!)
I'll try to squeeze one in. I have not been giving Ben *nearly* as much love as he deserves...*squishes Ben*

[identity profile] skinny-bacon.livejournal.com 2007-01-30 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
I am SOOOO excited that it is almost February 7. And YES - you simply must write a Ben fic. One more before the end of the hiatus. I also want to write just one more.

*squishes Ben with you*

I'll try! *ponders for ideas* Looking forward to yours as well!

How was "Blood and Chocolate"? That's on my list of things to read this year, as is "Twilight."

[identity profile] interpretthis.livejournal.com 2007-02-02 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
Blood and Chocolate is an excellent read, for those who enjoy the fantasy, werewolf/vampire type stories (and as I read it a second time her the colorful language and imagery struck me - just wonderful). And Twilight is brilliant as well (I, of course, fell for the main vampire immediately, along with his father ;) I have an unfortunate habit of developing obsessive crushes on fantastical and wholly unattainable characters.). I'm reading the sequel just now, and it's incredibly difficult to put down (though I'm often forced to). I'm also trying to write an epic (for me, heh) fic for it *looks guiltily at all WIP fic*. I hope you enjoy them, once you get to reading them! :)

Oh me too. Maybe we need to start a support group. :)

I can't wait to read them. I love those types of stories.

Best of luck on your epic! I hope your muse is kind to you!

Maybe we need to start a support group. :)

I have a feeling we'd be a fairly large group ;) But hey, the more, the better. We'd be quite a supportive lot.

And thanks for the luck! *pets muse*
