raindrops pound my window
tiny translucent fists
melting down glass
i blink
and the only discernible difference
between the drops
and my tears
stays the pounding of the tiny fists
on the window
to the silent course my tears flow
down my cheeks

Ack. I'm so sorry. I read this when you first posted and thought I commented but now see that I am completely delusional and did not comment. This now is my comment.

*sigh*. very nice. For me, the best line is the "tiny translucent fists" because it is such a perfect description and such intruiging imagery. Excellent job.

That's my favorite line as well. And I do that all the time - the "delusional commenting" thing. Maybe it's just LJ deleting them to annoy us, lol.
